In the new year, we need to get back to our grind + we need a healthy foundation to do so.
This year has been filled with toxic sludge. Hate that has been built up, fear that has left us paralyzed, lessons we may have learned.
We need a reset. We need to cleanse.
Think of this as a "last few days of 2020 juice cleanse"
Let go of everything you've built up and start new
Think about this entire year (scary, we know). Think about fears you've had, rough spots you've been in, people you've been mad at, and broken points.
Let. That. Shi*. Go.
Let go of relationships that aren't supporting you + habits that aren't helping you
We want to start the new year off with a healthy foundation. No more keeping people close that aren't here to support your growth. No more continuing with bad habits or habits that aren't helping you.
Do 1 good thing today that your future self will thank you for
This can be simple. Go for a run, eat some kale, clean off your desk, make a list of goals. Do 1 action a day that your future self will thank you for.
Turn your goals into a "to-do" list
It's easy to make goals and pretend they're out of your reach, dream about them happening... etc. Instead of making a list of goals, think of it as a to-do list instead. Conquer each one. What actions can you do to help you get closer to your goal?
"Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Make today count."
If there is anything we've learned this year, it's that tomorrow is not guaranteed. We are In charge of our own destiny and we must take actions/steps towards our goals.
Nothing will happen if you sit there and dream about it.
Make. It. Happen.
